Pumpkin Spice Kisses - Target : Cherry Hill, NJ

Another seasonal Target find. I had seen these around the net, but never had them myself.

The bag is plastic and has a seasonal recipe on the back. Visually I like the simple design and overall orange color. (I was able to spot the bag easily in the store.) What I really love is the wrapping on the kisses. There are little spooky swirls and stripes covering bright orange foil. Everything is topped off with a little brown flag that says “Pumpkin Spice.”

Opening the foil, the candy doesn’t really have much of a scent. Then again these types of confections typically don’t have a smell. 

When I ate one, I was surprised at how soft and fudgy the texture was. This is like eating a pumpkin spiced fudge! The flavor is VERY sweet, and the pumpkin spices are really prominent. Even if you hadn’t told me the flavor, I would have guessed that this was pumpkin spice.

These were a really pleasant surprise!

On a pumpkin-y scale of 1-5 (5 being extremely pumpkin-y) I would rate this a 4.
