Shigekix Super Gummies in Grape. - House of Fun, NJ

This is the other flavor I picked up at the toy shop. I really liked the cola ones, so I am hoping these will be just as good.
The packaging is the same as the cola, it is color coordinated to match the flavor inside the bag and the face has a sour puckered mouth.
When I open up the bag, it smells…delicious! I was surprised by how rich the scent actually was. There are some richer notes to it, like a really good grape juice.
Like the cola gummy, the first thing I could taste was the sour powder, but it quickly turns into a sour grape. It did not take long for the candy’s real flavor to shine through. The chew is really stiff, like the cola ones, but the fruity flavor is amazing. Like a mix between grape jam and a sparkling grape juice.
These are fantastic!

Shigekix Super Gummies in Cola - House of Fun, NJ

I had never seen these candies before, so I picked up one bag of each flavor to try. I couldn’t read the bags, so I looked them up online and I found out that these are sour gummy candies! (Gummies are my favorite candies ever!)

It’s a small bag of candies with a face on it. The color of the bag matches the flavor inside and the faces have a puckered mouth to indicate the strong sour flavor. By far, my favorite thing about the packaging is that the bags are resealable! I usually don’t eat all the candy in one sitting, so I like that I can easily close it and save some for later.

These candies smell like flat soda, just like the Haribo Cola gummies.

Opening the bag, I saw that the gummies are cone shaped. I have never seen a cone-shaped gummy before. It’s really unique! Each candy is coated in a fine sour-powder.

Time to taste! The first sensation is the tangy sour powder, it tastes just like Warheads! After a few seconds, the sour flavor fades away and you can actually start tasting the cola. The cola taste is the same as the Haribo Fizzy bottles, but this has a very stiff chew. (I like it, but maybe the bag was a little stale. I’m not sure if it is supposed to be like this.)
